For LINAK® DESKLINE® systems, connection cables are typically used to link power sources, control boxes, and accessories within the actuator setup. They can be classified by function and connector type:

1. Short Connection Cables – Provide minimal cable slack for compact layouts, reducing clutter and maintaining a clean installation.
2. Extended Connection Cables – Offer greater reach between components, allowing flexible placement of batteries, power supplies, and modules.
3. Specialised Interface Cables – Designed for specific accessories such as the WiFi2LIN012, ensuring correct power and data transfer.

The cables listed here fall under the straight-to-straight DC connection cable category. They are commonly used in DESKLINE® applications to connect the BA001 Battery Box, SMPS006 power supply, or accessory modules to control boxes. These cables maintain reliable power delivery, preserve signal integrity, and support system IP ratings when installed correctly.

Length: Select the shortest suitable cable to reduce signal degradation and energy loss.

Routing: Avoid sharp bends; use a radius larger than 5x cable diameter if not otherwise specified.

Protection: To maintain IP ratings (e.g., IP66 or IP69K), ensure overmolding is intact and cable entries are within protected enclosures.

Connector Type: LINAK® often uses Deutsch DT or AMP Superseal plugs—both designed for harsh environments with sealing against water, pressure, and temperature extremes.
