ActivDesk is a brand owned and operated by AME System Pty Ltd. We are committed to providing high-quality products that meet strict performance and reliability standards. All personal information collected through this website is managed by AME System Pty Ltd, which is the legally responsible entity for data handling, transactions, and customer service. ActivDesk is not a registered legal entity.


Our policies comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).


Consumer Rights

Under the ACL, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product:

  • Is faulty
  • Is unsafe
  • Does not match its description
  • Is not fit for purpose

These rights cannot be excluded and apply in addition to our warranty.


Returns & Refunds

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item is faulty, damaged, or significantly different from its description:

  • You are entitled to a full refund, replacement, or repair at no cost.
  • No restocking fees apply.
  • Please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order.

Change-of-Mind Returns

We accept change-of-mind returns within 14 days of delivery provided that:

  • The item is unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.
  • Return shipping is at the customer’s expense.
  • A 20% restocking fee applies.
  • Change-of-mind returns are not accepted for custom-made items.

Off-the-Shelf Items:

Refunds are available for off-the-shelf items, less a 20% restocking fee, if returned in original condition within 14 days.

Return Process

Please contact our customer service team at shop@amesystem.com.au to arrange a return. Proof of purchase is required for all returns. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.


Warranty Coverage

We offer the following limited warranties on LINAK DESKLINE® products sold by AME System:

  • 5-year warranty on LINAK DESKLINE® components, covering manufacturing defects from the production date on the product label.
  • 12-month warranty on battery components.

The Warranty Covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Products used in accordance with the user manual and approved applications.

The Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or unauthorised modifications.
  • Use in inappropriate environments (e.g., industrial or medical settings outside LINAK’s recommended applications).
  • Third-party components not supplied by AME System.

Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact AME System Pty Ltd with your proof of purchase and a description of the issue.

  2. Our team will assess your claim and advise the next steps, which may include product inspection or return.

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, AME System will:

  • Provide a replacement part,
  • Offer an equivalent solution, or
  • Issue store credit at our discretion.

🔎 Note: Warranty claims must be made directly with AME System. Claims cannot be made with LINAK or other manufacturers.
