How can I check part compatibility?

If your desk is more than 10 years old, please email us photos of the manufacturer stickers (the silver LINAK® labels) from both the actuators and the control box. We can then advise whether compatible replacement parts are available.

Which parts are needed for a height-adjustable system?

A typical system requires:

  • Actuators
  • A control box
  • A switch

You will also need cabling for power and motor connections. Additional components may be needed depending on your integration and application.

What type of switch will best suit my needs?

Switch selection depends on your preference and application. We offer:

  • Button switches
  • Toggle switches
  • Embedded switches in various styles

We recommend using a switch with a display, which helps if you encounter error codes and require remote troubleshooting.

Can I have fixed upper and lower limits set for my actuators?

You can set memory positions using compatible switches.
Fixed height limits must be pre-configured at the time of ordering. Please contact us to organise this.

Will LINAK components work with non-LINAK® systems?

It is very unlikely that LINAK® components will be compatible with non-LINAK® systems. Please contact the original supplier for compatible parts or troubleshooting.

Do you supply LINAK® medical range or linear actuators?

We do not supply LINAK® medical products or linear actuators. Please contact LINAK® directly for suppliers and support for these product ranges.

Shipping and Assembly

How will my desk frame kit be shipped?

LINAK® products are flat-packed, either as bundles or individual components, for easy shipping.
Desk frames require basic assembly upon delivery.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, ActivDesk does not offer international shipping. We only ship to addresses within Australia at this time.

How can I track my order?

The tracking number will be added during the fulfilment process and emailed once your order has been completed and is ready for courier collection.

My desk won’t go up but will run down slowly. What should I do?

This is usually caused by an initialisation error (E01).

To reset:

  1. Run the desk to its lowest position.
  2. Press and hold the down button for 3–5 seconds.
  3. The desk should perform a slight up-and-down movement and then operate normally.
